The CapCut & Movie Editing Unit is a practical, animal-themed elective designed for late primary students. Learners are guided through the complete movie-making process as they plan ideas, film short clips, arrange scenes and use CapCut’s basic editing tools. They learn how to trim, split and reorder footage, add clear titles and captions, record voice-overs, include suitable music and apply simple effects before exporting and sharing their finished videos responsibly.
The unit also builds wider skills in storytelling, research, writing, spelling, speaking and digital responsibility. Extension projects invite students to create animal documentaries, factual films, comparisons, public service announcements, stop-motion videos, news reports and other creative movie formats.
