The Grade 6 | Two-A-Day Complete Australian Homeschool Curriculum
The Grade 6 Two-A-Day Complete Curriculum is a comprehensive, engaging and easy-to-follow homeschool program designed to provide families with a clear pathway through the Grade 6 year without creating an overwhelming workload.
Designed around the Australian Curriculum Version 9.0, the curriculum brings together the major Grade 6 learning areas in one cohesive program, with lessons, projects, worksheets, practical activities and assessment opportunities carefully structured for home learning.
The Two-A-Day approach is designed around completing approximately two focused hours of learning each day, allowing students to make consistent progress while still leaving plenty of room for family life, interests, excursions, reading and independent learning.
Rather than relying on long textbook-style lessons, students learn through a combination of clear teaching, real-world application, hands-on activities, written work, creative projects and practical investigations. Subjects are designed to feel purposeful and engaging while continuing to build the academic knowledge and skills students need as they prepare for secondary school.
Across the curriculum, students develop skills in English, Handwriting, Mathematics, Science & STEM, Humanities and Social Sciences, Health and Wellbeing, and Visual Arts, with opportunities to practise research, communication, hands-on projects, problem-solving, critical thinking, creativity and independent learning.
The curriculum has been created with both the student and parent in mind. Instructions are straightforward, preparation is kept manageable, and resources are organised so families can easily see what to teach, what to complete and what progress is being made.
With a balance of structured academic learning and meaningful real-life experiences, the Grade 6 Two-A-Day Complete Curriculum provides a flexible, supportive and enjoyable final-primary-year program that helps students grow in confidence, independence and readiness for the next stage of their education.
Structured without being rigid. Comprehensive without being overwhelming. Meaningful learning designed for real homeschool families.
